Prepress Workflow

Our highly productive printing operation allows us to continually adjust in an ever changing environment. In our commitment to ensuring an easy and seamless customer experience, we offer you a variety of proofing options; online, PDF or hard proofing using AGFA systems - a world leader in prepress workflow, colour management and plate technology.

Offset printing

Print Works has the press capacity to deliver in excess of 27 million double sided A4 sheets each week.

Our flagship is the most modern and newest Komori Lithrone 1040 perfecting A1 press in Queensland - printing up to 10 colours on 1 side or up to 5 colours on 2 sides at once on a maximum sheet size of 720 x 1020mm.

We also have a modern Komori Lithrone 628 A2 Press - printing up to 6 colours on 1 side at once on a maximum sheet size of 520 x 720mm. This is an excellent press for printing covers, light packaging and short run DM collateral.

Finishing Services

Our impressive in-house finishing capability is among the more superior print facilities in Queensland. In operating such equipment in house, we can maintain control, quality and promptly deliver your job.

Die Cutting: Heidelberg cylinder (770 x 540mm) large format die/form cutting machinery.
Drilling: Sterling hole drilling machinery.
Mailing: Dipipack wrapping machinery / Hunkeler technology.
Folding: Stahl folding machinery (four with multiple capabilities).
Stapling: Heidelberg Stitchmaster 7 station + cover feeder. Has the capability to multi staple books up to 116 pages in one pass.
Trimming: Wohlenberg Guillotines (large format machines).

Our transport fleet ensures efficient, reliable, time critical deliveries around SEQ. We can also arrange distribution to regional Queensland and interstate by our preferred freight companies, with competitive rates.
